CITRUS DIP

1 lemon, lime and orange (freshly squeezed)
grated peel of each fruit
1 egg
1 cup sugar
1/2 cup heavy whipping cream

In a medium saucepan stir together grated peel and juice of a lemon, lime and an orange. Add a beaten egg and 1 cup of sugar. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly until mixture boils. Boil and stir 1 minute. Remove from heat; cool; cover. Refrigerate. Whip 1/2 cup heavy cream and fold into mixture. Use as a dip for fresh fruit.
