Deborah Heart and Lung Center has received a $5 million gift from Gregory Olsen, Ph.D., to Deborah100: The Campaign. It is the largest single gift by an individual to Deborah in its 97-year history and ranks among the largest gifts ever made to a New Jersey hospital. Deborah100 is a multi-year initiative to add new patient floors all with private inpatient suites.
Jefferson Health’s three New Jersey hospitals in Cherry Hill, Stratford and Washington Township received five-star ratings for 2020 in orthopedics, gastrointestinal and critical care outcomes, according to a report released by Healthgrades.
Virtua Health has been named a Most Wired health system in the U.S. for the sixth consecutive year by the College of Healthcare Information Management Executives. This recognition acknowledges the dedication of Virtua’s leadership and information services department to invest and excel in the field of health care technology.

Fresenius Kidney Care and Jefferson Health are partnering together to provide South Jersey residents living with kidney failure more convenient access to care.
Leapfrog announced its fall 2019 hospital safety grades and the majority of the hospitals in New Jersey fared well, with 31 hospitals being graded an A, including Inspira Medical Center Elmer, Jefferson Cherry Hill, Stratford and Washington Township hospitals and Virtua Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital. Twenty-four hospitals were graded with a B, including AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center Atlantic City and Mainland campuses, Cooper University Hospital, Inspira Medical Center Vineland and Virtua Marlton, Voorhees and Willingboro Hospitals.
Cooper Foundation’s 10th annual Pink Roses Teal Magnolias Brunch raised a record-breaking $1 million for breast and gynecologic cancer care and research at MD Anderson Cancer Center at Cooper.Since the first brunch in 2010, fundraising for Pink Roses Teal Magnolias has totaled $6.5 million.
