Violent Home Invasion In Evesham EVESHAM TOWNSHIP, N.J. -- Police in Evesham Township said a woman who was walking home, was stabbed in the neck by a young man shortly before 4 p.m. Monday.

Police identified the victim as Nancy Clark. They said she had been on a walk with a neighbor and was on her way home when the man, walking in the opposite direction, attacked her and stabbed her a number of times in the neck.

Clark was rushed to Cooper Medical Center.

Clark's home is on Thomas Eakins Way, near Hopewell Road, in the Sanctuary Development.

Investigators said the alleged attacker is in his late teens or early 20s, approximately 5-feet 9-inches tall, medium build, with straight brown hair. He was wearing blue jeans and a T-shirt.

Police said the attacker is on the loose. A search is under way in the area.
