Man Dies in Icy Delaware River A 60-year-old man has died after being rescued from the icy Delaware River in Del Ran, New Jersey last night. Police say he was chipping away the ice at the Cassell Harbor Marina, when he slipped and fell into the river.

They say he was in the water for about 25 minutes before being pulled out from under a piece of ice.

They finally found him after some ice broke away and a he was about ten feet from the dock, under the ice.

Police say he was found in about 15 feet of water. He was pronounced dead at the hospital in Willingboro. His name is being withheld at this time.
