Bizarre Accident Driver Found

by NBC10 | Mar 17, 2004
Bizarre Accident Driver Found Police have made an arrest in a bizarre hit and run that nearly decapitated a woman. Jacqueline Fitzgerald turned herself in to police Tuesday.

The victim, Joyce Brown, was driving down Chestnut Avenue in Hamilton Township on Monday. Another vehicle was leaving a bank in the area, jumped the curb, and crashed into a no parking sign, sending it through the air, propelling it through the windshield into the victim's car. The sign lodged itself between Brown's mouth and jaw. The other driver only stopped for a few seconds and then took off.

Brown is in critical condition. Fitzgerald faces several charges.
