Police Looking for Shooting Suspects

Until Sunday, there hadn't a murder in Burlington County all year.
Police were called shortly after 12 p.m. Sunday after John McGarrigle, 35, had been shot at his Willingboro, N.J. home.
McGarrigle lived with his mother and ran a landscaping business. He was cleaning some of his equipment with a friend in his backyard when two other men approached, police said.
A witness told police on one man and McGarrigle went into a garage. There was an argument and then a gunshot.
"The victim was struck in the groin area and the two suspects ran off. He was pronounced dead at scene from one bullet wound to the groin area," Burlington County prosecutor Robert Bernardi said.
Bernardi believed the dispute may have been over money.
"I think they were familiar with each other," said Burlington County prosecutor Robert Bernardi. "Exactly the relationship is we're not sure, but they were not total strangers. This is a victim knowing who he was dealing with and who attacked him."
Police didn't have a good description for either man who approached McGarrigle and the other man who was with him.
If you have any information, police would like you to call 609-877-6958.
