Professor Earns Top Honors

Professor Earns Top Honors Professor Jay Feinman of Haddonfield has been named a recipient of Rutgers' highest honor for excellence in the classroom, the Warren I. Susman Award for Excellence in Teaching, which commemorates a prominent cultural historian and popular teacher.

The Rutgers-Camden legal educator will receive the award from Rutgers President Richard L. McCormick during a special May 4 ceremony in New Brunswick.

A widely published scholar in such areas as contracts, torts, legal theory, and legal education, Feinman is the author of numerous books, including "Professional Liability to Third Parties" (American Bar Association, 2000), "1001 Legal Words You Need to Know" (Oxford University Press, 2003) and "Law 101" (Oxford University Press, 2000).

His works have been cited by numerous researchers and courts, including the U.S. Supreme Court.
