Police Search for Murder Weapon Police divers are looking for a knife that killed a wife and mother in Burlington County.

The small body of water is known as Archway School Lake. Not a place one would assume a murder weapon was hiding, but for an unknown reason New Jersey State Police spent hours scouring the bottom of the lake searching for the knife that killed the 24-year-old mother and mother Krista Difrancesco. They say it would be easy to dispose of a weapon in this secluded area.

"Because he lives here he probably travels this road frequently and this would be a good place to throw evidence," said an officer.

Prosecutors say 19-year-old Christopher Kornberger has confessed to the murder of Difrancesco along with attacks on three other women in this area. So finding the physical evidence of a murder weapon would go a long way in backing up that confession. Dive teams are expected to renew their search later today.
