Man Secretly Taped Children

A south Jersey man is under arrest after allegedly videotaping children on a playground in Buena.

Police said Andrew Johnson allegedly concealed a video camera in a duffle bag and went to south Jersey parks and playgrounds to videotape young girls without their knowledge.

Authorities said some of the children agreed to be videotaped but most of the victims had no idea they were being shot.

An anonymous caller told police they saw what appeared to be child pornography videos in Johnson's mobile home.

Police followed up on that call and said they found hundreds of videos of children in various sexual poses in Johnson's home.

"We received hundreds of video of juvenile females in various sexual poses and hundreds or possibly thousands of photography video and pictures," said Det. Rick Berman of the N.J. State Police.

Johnson is facing child endangerment charges.
