Campbell Soup Being Sued

John Facenda Sr. was a prominent Philadelphia broadcaster who long served as the dramatic voice of NFL Films before his 1984 death.
His son charges in a federal court suit that the company spoke to him in May about using a "sound-alike" narrator in radio and television ads this NFL season, but later said they had were changing course.
Campbell's spokesman John Faulkner said the commercial was voiced by a man with a similar, but "not a sound-alike" voice.
The lawsuit seeks a retaping of the commercials with a non-Facenda-like voice, and unspecified monetary damages.
