Man Charged with Killing Daughter A New Jersey man is accused of fatally beating his 11-month-old daughter while baby-sitting her.

David Walden, 28, of Lindenwold, N.J., has been charged with murder.

Authorities said that he struck his daughter Kira several times in the abdomen and head.

An autopsy found the baby had several other older injuries, including broken ribs, a broken collar bone and a scar on her chest.

Police said Walden watched the girl Saturday at his girlfriend's apartment. The mother worked all day and into early Sunday morning at a restaurant.

Police said Walden called 911 shortly after 12:30 a.m. Sunday to report the child was unresponsive.
