2-Year-Old Child Shot in Camden A 2-year-old girl is hospitalized after she was struck in the head by a stray bullet in Camden, N.J., Thursday night.

Police said the child was riding in the back of her family's car on Ferry Avenue when she was shot.

Authorities said the girl was hit right behind her ear.

The child's mother drove her to the hospital where she underwent surgery. The child's condition is unknown.

Witnesses told NBC 10 they saw three men jump into a car and drive off after the shooting.

Police said they are searching for at least one person, possibly more, who fired multiple shots in the area.
