Camden Police Union Sues The Camden Police Union filed a hostile work environment complaint against the New Jersey State Police.

Camden police claim they are subject to verbal abuse from top state police commanders. The two agencies share offices in Camden in an attempt to combine their crime-fighting efforts.

"They treat us with complete disrespect," said Bill Murray, president of the Camden Police Union. "They slander us, they make racial slurs, they curse at us, they kick us off the floors we've been assigned to. We're just not going to tolerate it."

State police have not commented on the lawsuit. Camden city administrators are launching their own investigation into the complaints.
