The owners of this Margate home tasked designer Candice Adler and builder East Shore Development with creating a feel that made each space inviting and family friendly. Shades of gray and blue help reflect the beach and sky in a casual way without sacrificing style or quality, and the monochromatic approach allows everything to flow together. Natural fabrics lend a sense of ease perfect for life at the beach, while polished nickel lanterns are the perfect detail to complement the fresh white cabinets in the kitchen. “It’s young and fresh,” Adler says of the finished product. “We knew we were on to something special.”
