The 13-year-olds on this team (pictured) took home the Camden County American Legion Division championship for 2014. It’s the second big win for these teens this season, as the boys took home the Babe Ruth District 4 championship in July, taking them to the end of their season at the SNJ Babe Ruth State Tournament in Hightstown.

The Renegades rounded out a perfect 16-0 season with a first-place trophy at the Burlington County Babe Ruth League Championships. With only nine players able to play, the team came out on top, scoring three runs with the help of a last-minute double in the bottom of the ninth when the team was down by two.

It was a great end of the season for the 9U Blues, as they captured the District 3 championship. The boys defeated neighboring team Sewell in a 12-2 finish, and led an impressive tournament during which they outscored their opponents 36-2. The team went on to face off against other competition in the Southern New Jersey State Tournament later in the summer.

It was a true team effort that led the Chiefs to a 5-0 shutout against Paul VI this month. The girls scored five goals from five separate players, with Ashley Koester claiming a goal as well as an assist. The win helped push the girls to fourth place in the Olympic Conference at press time, with an impressive seven wins and two losses.

The Bulldawgs are enjoying another successful season that included a second-place finish at the Moorestown Fall Classic in September. They went on to earn their 13th straight sectional championship in October, defeating Middle Township, 5-0, in the South Jersey Group II final. Haddonfield also earned shutout victories over Highland and Delsea en route to the title. They advanced to the state semifinals as they sought their sixth consecutive state championship.
