Bridge Collapse in South Jersey Part of a rail bridge being hoisted into place over the Rancocas Creek dropped Thursday onto a barge that had carried it to the construction site. Delanco Police Chief Ed Parsons said some workers jumped into the creek below but there were no serious injuries. The accident happened at about 12:15 p.m.

Six workers from Archer Steel were taken to hospitals with minor injuries, said Ken Miller, a spokesman for New Jersey Transit.

The bridge is part of a light rail line being built between Camden and Trenton.
