American Appliance Will Provide Goods An agreement with New Jersey-based American Appliance`s lenders will enable consumers to get their merchandise or credit for purchases.

Pennsylvania`s attorney general says the agreement will cover more than 1,100 consumers in Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Delaware. Those customers paid in full or in part for goods they never received from the bankrupt Pennsauken company.

Terms of the consent agreement approved by a U.S. bankruptcy judge in Camden call for consumers to get a written notice by explaining how they can get their merchandise.

The notice will come companies that financed the washing machines, televisions and other merchandise sold at American Appliance stores.

American Appliance closed its 24 stores in New Jersey, Pennsylvania and Delaware on April 23.
