Rowan University Hosts Science Festival For Earth Day

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) — In honor of Earth Day, families filled the campus of Rowan University for a day of scientific fun.

The event was held as part of the Franklin Institute’s Philadelphia Science Festival.

Children participated in demonstrations, including solar observations with the astronomy club.

They also got to make their own telescopes and took home free tree seedlings with planting instructions.
