Fire Kills Two Adults; Teen in Critical Condition A Salem County man and woman are dead, and two boys and two police officers were injured after a fire ripped through a New Jersey apartment Tuesday morning.

Investigators say the fire started around 2:15 Tuesday morning in the second floor apartment of the twin. The mother living in the house next door heard the fire and told her husband to call 911. Police managed to pull a 17-year-old boy from the flames. The teenager is in critical condition at Crozier-Chester Medical Center with burns covering 70 percent of his body. A 7-year-old boy in the house escaped with burns to his hand.

When firefighters searched the building they found the two adults who were killed in the blaze. Their names have not been released.

Two officers suffered minor injuries during the rescue. So far there`s no word on a cause.
