Thunder Rally Falls Short, Lose 4-3 The Thunder loaded the bases in the bottom of the ninth inning but failed to get the tying run across the plate as the Binghamton Mets held on to win 4-3 on Monday night in Trenton.

Josh Hancock pitched 5.0 innings allowing two unearned runs and recording seven strike outs in the losing effort.

Freddy Sanchez went 2-for-4 including a pair of doubles and an RBI. Angel Santos and T. Brown each had two hits in the game for the Thunder.

The Thunder, having lost five straight games, face the New York Mets affiliate from Binghamton, NY again on Tuesday July 31 at 7:05.
