Thunder Downed 9-4 The Thunder jumped out to a 4-1 lead in the 3rd inning, but were unable to hold on down the stretch. Former first-round draft pick Billy Traber pitched 5 innings to earn the win.

For the Thunder, Virgil Chevalier continued his hot play with a towering home run over all 4 rows of billboards in left field. He was the only Thunder player to collect more than 2 hits.

The Thunder now head north to Portland to take on the Sea Dogs for 4 games. The Thunder return home for a 7-game homestand from August 6-12.
