Cape May Man Charged in Son`s Death

Cape May Man Charged in Son`s Death Cape May Court House September 28th, 2001 — A Cape May County man is charged with killing one of his seven-week-old twin sons. Twenty-seven-year-old Edward Roman Senior of Erma was arraigned yesterday in Sunday's death of his son Edward Junior.

Authorities say the boy was killed by blunt force trauma while the twins' mother was away shopping.

In his hearing, Roman appeared to want to say something to the babies' mother, her parents and his own parents, but was led away by a sheriff's officer.

If Roman is convicted he could face life in prison. He's also charged with endangering the welfare of a child.
