Merchantville Native to Speak at Reading Center

Merchantville Native to Speak at Reading Center MERCHANTVILLE, N.J.: Kathryn M. Shanahan, a Merchantville native and novelist, will appear at the Merchantville Reading Center on Nov. 12 at 7 p.m.

A 1985 graduate of the Merchantville School, Shanahan is the author of “Brianna’s Escape,” a romantic fiction novel and her first published book.

She will speak to attendees on writing for and reading the romantic fiction genre, as well as sign copies of her recently-published novel.

In her biography for the website, Author’s Den (www.authorsden.com), Shanahan initiated the upcoming event to support the Merchantville Reading Center, which she feels “is one of the most important causes to support.”

Refreshments will be served.
