Arrest Made in Brutal Slaying

Arrest Made in Brutal Slaying Camden police have arrested 23-year-old Ryshaone Thomas of Camden and charged him with murder in connection with the brutal slaying of a Washington Township woman. Twenty-seven year old Christina Eberle was last seen leaving her office in Center City Philadelphia Monday evening around 8:15. She took the Patco High Speed line to the Ferry Avenue station in Camden where her car was parked. When she didn't show up at home by 11, her fiancé went looking for her.

The car was later spotted and stopped by an off duty Camden police officer. Sources tell Action News Thomas had Eberle's credit cards and other property in his possession. He was questioned and apparently led police to Eberle's body. They recovered her remains last night in a wooded area near Malandra Hall, a community center on New Jersey Avenue. Police say their investigation continues and there may have been others involved.

Thomas will be arraigned on first degree murder charges.
