South Jersey Murder Victim Mourned

Christine Eberle, the South Jersey woman who was abducted from a PATCO train stop and murdered last week, was laid to rest on Monday. Her friends, family and coworkers greeted and consoled each other outside Gardner's Funeral Home in Runnemede, New Jersey, before the service began.
Police say that Eberle was killed Monday night. She was abducted from the Ferry Avenue PATCO parking lot and fought her attackers during an attempted sexual assault. Two Camden men are facing felony murder charges in connection with her death. Twenty-three year old Ryshaone Thomas was arrested and arraigned last week after he was found driving Eberle 's Ford explorer. Eberle 's boyfriend said that the car was in the PATCO parking lot Monday night but was gone on Tuesday morning when he reported her missing.
A second suspect, 22 year old Marcus Toliver is set to be arraigned Monday afternoon. He was arrested after a police search of a Fairview Court apartment last week. During that search police found bloody footprints, and a bloody handprint was found on a car parked at the building. Several of Eberle 's belongings were also found in the apartment.
Christine Eberle worked for Delaware Investments in Center City. She was laid to rest at the Locustwood Cemetery at Route 70 in Cherry Hill.
