SJ Seniors - Get Up & Get Out

First let’s start off with the Mature Driving: AARP 55 Alive taking place at Barry D. Brown Health Education Ctr. 106 Carnie Blvd. in Voorhees. This is a two-day refresher course where seniors can refine their driving skills and learn defensive driving techniques. The class takes place on December 6 & 7 from 11 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. No written or oral tests will be given, and you don’t even have to be over 55! SJ Seniors looking for something a bit more physical (and fun) should stop by Holly Bowl located at 521 Rt. 38 in Hainesport fro Open Bowling. The price is $5.00 at the door, and includes 2 games, 2 slices of pizza and a beverage. This is a great way to get out and enjoy the day with your friends and get a bit of exercise at the same time. Next up is a bus trip to New York City. Spend your day sightseeing, shopping or whatever you wish in the “Big Apple”. Two busses are reserved for this great day trip, with one departing Lumberton and the other departing from Marlton both at 8 a.m. The busses will depart NYC at 4:30 p.m. for dinner at Binhamton’s Ferry (included in the $40.00 per. person price).
