Juvenile Arrested for Arson

MIDDLE TOWNSHIP, NJ - February 3, 2002 — Cape May County authorities arrested one juvenile and intend to make more arrests for the arson of a former school in Middle Township at the intersection of Route 9 and School House Lane. The building had recently been sold to a developer who intended to put offices at the site. The flames started just after 9:30pm Saturday and quickly grew to a 2-alarm blaze.

Nobody suffered injuries during the fire, which was put out by 11pm.
