Man Shoots Foreman at NJ Business A man drove up to the Gloucester Marine Terminal and shot and killed a foreman Wednesday before fleeing in the victim's truck, police said. Shariff A. Cook, 27, was charged with murder after he led police on a chase and eventually crashed the truck in Camden.

Authorities said Cook rode up to a truck being driven by 57-year-old Scott Palmer of Pennsauken, shot him and drove off in Palmer's GMC Yukon around 11:45 a.m. Wednesday.

A state trooper heard the gunshots, saw the truck and followed Cook until he crashed into a minivan.

Palmer was taken to Cooper Hospital-University Medical Center, where he was declared dead.

Three passengers of the minivan were in stable condition at Cooper, where they were being treated for injuries sustained in the crash.

Cook was scheduled to be arraigned Thursday. He was being held at the Camden County Jail. Bail had not been set Wednesday.
