Schoolchildren Injured in Bus Crash Multiple minor injuries were reported from a Friday afternoon accident involving two tour buses on I-476 in suburban Philadelphia. The buses were headed back to Pittsgrove Middle School.

More than a dozen ambulances were on the scene of a bus crash in suburban Philadelphia. The Delaware County emergency services director says the buses were carrying school-age children and their injuries appear to be minor.

The crash happened at about 4pm, causing a backup for several miles on the southbound lanes of the Blue Route and a delay caused by spectators slowing down in the northbound lanes.

Parents were notified as they waited at the school for their childrens' return. The injured children were taken to four local hospitals. EMS personnel tried to reassure parents that none of the injuries was serious, but anxious parents waited for their children to return before breathing a sigh of relief; others drove to the hospitals to be with their children.
