Flyers and Phantoms Welcome Baby

What do Philadelphia hockey teams have to do with penguins, other than playing the team from Pittsburgh? At the New Jersey State Aquarium the new baby penguins will show their hockey spirit by wearing colored armbands with the teams' colors, orange/black and orange/purple.
All of the Aquarium's penguins wear colored armbands for identification. These chicks' color combinations are a blend of their parents' colored bands.
To celebrate the new additions, and all the other penguins in the Inguza Island exhibit, the Aquarium is having a "Penguin Palooza." This event runs from 11:30 a.m. - 2:30pm on Friday, July 19 and activities include:
Meet the Keepers: learn what it takes to feed and care for the Aquarium's 19 penguins.
Walk & Talk Like a Penguin Contest: visitors strut their stuff and bray the loudest to win prizes.
Penguins: Up Close and Personal: get a closer look at a penguin during a special animal talk.
Penguin artifacts: see penguin eggs and bones and touch a penguin pelt.
Make a penguin necklace: kids can make a penguin necklace to take home.
In addition, select programs and shows will be interpreted into American Sign Language for hearing-impaired visitors.
The Aquarium is located at 1 Riverside Drive in Camden.
