Cherry Hill Standoff Ends

Cherry Hill Standoff Ends An armed standoff situation in Cherry Hill, New Jersey is over. A SWAT team was called to a home on Waverly Road near the Sharp Elementary School.

It all began just before 4am Sunday.

Nearby residents were evacuated because of reports that there may be large amounts of weapons inside. At around 7am Sunday, the situation ended peacefully.

One man is now in police custody. Still no word as to why he barricaded himself inside the home.
