Absentee Voters Upset Politicians aren't the only ones taking legal action over the ballot name change for U.S. Senate in New Jersey. Now, some absentee voters are starting a fight of their own.

Republicans were still waiting for a response Friday from the U.S. Supreme Court on their request to overturn the New Jersey Supreme Court's decision to allow the Democratic Party to change their candidate on the ballot from Robert Torricelli to Frank Lautenberg.

Another development Friday involved two absentee voters who live overseas. They each filed a case in Federal Court in Trenton, N.J. One of those absentee voters had already voted and is upset that he is not allowed to vote a second time with the corrected ballots because of the U.S. Constitution prevents it.

On Friday, the Democratic Party transferred $800,000 to a special account in Trenton to pay for the reprinting of the ballots, in accordance with their agreement to pay for all expenses incurred in updating the ballots.
