Rabbi Retrial -- UPDATE Testimony is now under way at the retrial of Cherry Hill Rabbi Fred Neulander in Freehold, N.J.

The prosecution and defense presented their opening statements to the jury of nine men and seven women Monday morning.

The retrial takes place in a Monmouth County courtroom. It comes about a year after a Camden County jury could not reach a decision in the case and a mistrial was declared.

The trial was moved to Monmouth after a judge ruled that extensive media coverage of the first trail made it impossible for Neulander to get a fair retrial in Camden.

Prosecutors say Neulander wanted his wife dead so he could carry on an affair with Elaine Soncini, a Philadelphia radio host. He has been held without bail in jail for more than two years.
