Jury Rehearing Testimony Rabbi Fred Neulander is waiting while jurors deliberate at his murder-for-hire retrial in Freehold.

After beginning deliberations, the jury asked to re-hear testimony from Neulander's daughter, Rebecca Neulander Rockoff. Her testimony bolstered the prosecution's theory of what happened the night of the 1994 murder.

The rabbi is accused of hiring a pair of hitmen to kill his wife in the couple's Cherry Hill, N.J., home eight years ago. Authorities said that he arranged the slaying so he could carry on an affair with a Philadelphia radio host.

The defense has tried to cast doubt about the prosecution's witnesses.

If he is convicted of murder for hire, the 61-year-old could be sentenced to death.

In addition to the capital charge, the jury is considering charges of felony murder and murder conspiracy.

The rabbi's first trial ended with a hung jury.
