Mice Invade Local School

by NBC10/AP | Nov 29, 2002
Mice Invade Local School Officials are working hard to remove some unwanted guests from a Winslow, N.J., elementary school.

An infestation of mice has been found in School Number One, a kindergarten-through-second-grade school. But officials say they're making progress in removing the rodents.

An extermination company has set traps throughout the school and screens are being installed near ventilation ducts. That's where officials believe the mice may be gaining entry to the Camden County school.

Mouse sightings have dropped in recent days, so officials are hoping that the problem will be soon be remedied.

School district officials declined to comment on the matter.
