Road Rage Death in NJ A pregnant woman has lost her husband in what police said is a case of road rage on the New Jersey Turnpike near Cherry Hill, N.J.

"I have my daughter. I have to be strong for the one that's on the way. He wanted me to be strong," Malvareen Myers said of her husband Anthony.

New Jersey State Police said the trouble started when Myers got out of his car.

"(He) jumped over the barrier into the southbound traffic. He made it to the right lane. At that time he was struck by a vehicle. That vehicle drove him to left-hand shoulder and he got hit a second time," said Sgt. William Zielenski.

Police said that the accident that closed the turnpike for three hours started a few miles south when Myers car was in the northbound lane and allegedly sideswiped another northbound car. According to police, both drivers pulled over on the shoulder and started arguing.

"There was a little bit of physical contact between the two. Subject 1 (Meyers) tried to get the keys for the other guy, so there was a little pushing and shoving," Zielenski said.

Melvareen Myers said that she has no idea why her husband would try to take the other man's car. She said that just doesn't fit his personality.

"He was fun-loving, he has a big heart, strong will (and he is) dedicated to his family," Myers said.

Myers said that her friends and her faith are helping her get by. Her husband left her with a daughter, another child on the way, 10 years of great memories and these instructions:

"He always told me 'If anything happens, when I go you have to be strong,'" Myers remembered.

Police said that the two men who hit Myers will not be charged and the man he fought with also will not be charged. Authorities are hoping the toxicology report and an autopsy will shed more light on what happened.
