The Cherrywood Pizza & Grill
Although the restaurant has moved to Laurel Springs and expanded its operation, the dedication to providing customers with delicious food has remained.
My friend Maria and I stopped by for lunch recently to see if the restaurant could still live up to its reputation.
The new Cherrywood Pizza & Grill still offers hot and cold sandwiches, clubs, hoagies, burgers, chicken sandwiches, a variety of fresh salads, buffalo wings in a choice of sauces, chicken fingers, french fries, mozzarella sticks, onion rings, jalapeno poppers and potato skins. Hand-tossed regular and Sicilian pizza (with your choice of over 16 fresh toppings) as well as pizza turnovers, calzones, stromboli and pasta dinners are new additions to the menu.
At The Cherrywood Pizza & Grill, all of the dishes are made to order using only the finest ingredients. And the portions are still extra-large. It`s a difference that will keep you coming back for more.
I chose one of the specials, homemade hot roast beef and cheese ($4.95). Maria had a small chicken cheese steak ($4.90). My juicy sandwich consisted of freshly cut roast beef and cheese piled high on a fresh roll and was accompanied by potato chips and a pickle. Maria was stunned when our friendly server brought her sandwich. It was not only huge, it was made with chunks of fresh cut chicken breast.
I would suggest The Cherrywood Pizza & Grill to anyone who craves large portions of excellent food. Take out and delivery (to certain areas) are available.
