Excellent cuisine and a relaxed, casual atmosphere make Domenico`s Ristorante the ideal dining experience.

Located in the Greentree Plaza on Route 73 in Marlton, this cozy establishment is conveniently situated within walking distance of the local movie theater. I heartily recommend Domenico`s for the classic dinner-and-a-movie date, or for the entire family.

My friend and I arrived at Domenico`s for dinner and were pleased to find a friendly and cheerful environment. The decor is a classy, subtle blend of Italian and American styles. We were promptly seated at a spacious table and greeted by an exceptionally personable waitress.

After perusing the appetizer menu, my friend decided to start with the Clams Casino ($5.95), which features fresh clams, specially prepared with chopped scallops, bacon and mushrooms. He found it to be a scrumptious combination of quality seafood.

I decided to forego an appetizer and ordered my entree, the Eggplant Parmigiana ($13.95), which comes with garlic bread, soup and salad. Our fresh bread arrived topped with Rigetta, an interesting mixture of seasonings. Rigetta consists of tomatoes, oregano and other Italian spices. If you like garlic bread, you`ll certainly love this tasty concoction.

My salad was delicious, with crisp romaine, garden vegetables and creamy Italian dressing. Our soup of the day was New England Clam Chowder, which was creamy, textured and delectable. I didn`t think I`d have room for more, but took one look at my entree and reconsidered. The eggplant, which comes with an ample side dish of spaghetti, was tender, well-cooked and smothered in delicious sauce and cheeses.

My friend ordered the House Pasta ($14.50), which consists of rigatoni with shrimp, olives, tomatoes and garlic in marinara with cream sauce. He couldn`t get enough of this wonderful mix of seafood, pasta and vegetables. Domenico`s also offers a tempting array of desserts.
