Man Charged With Beating Son

Man Charged With Beating Son A Camden, N.J., man is charged with beating his 3-month-old son.

Rodney Bacchues is being held in Camden County Jail on $75,000 bail on charges of aggravated assault and endangering the welfare of a child.

Authorities said he took his son to a fire station on Sunday afternoon. The baby was not breathing, but firefighters began CPR and transferred him to Cooper Medical Center in Camden.

There, doctors found a bandage stuck in the boy's throat and discovered he had multiple skull and rib fractures.

The child was taken to The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia where doctors were trying to determine how extensively his brain was damaged.

His father faces 10 years in state prison if convicted.
