Less Than Expected!

For a change this winter, the Delaware Valley avoided another snowstorm. But, we have some delayed school openings, and roads could be slick for the morning rush hour.
We had some snow overnight and there is still some snow coming down but not a lot.
In fact, this system never got it together in the first place. And most of the heavy precipitation moved off shore in the early hours of the morning.
You can see much of our area is getting a break already from the precipitation and earlier, it was expected that if this thing came together right, we would be in some of the heaviest snowfall right now.
Obviously, that didn't happen. It did look more impressive.
Let's put this into a time lapse. The heaviest precipitation is now out of here. We're going to see some light snow and then it will end, and we'll have a pretty decent day.
There are some showers to our west, so we could see a little more that morning but it doesn't look like it is going to be anything big.
So in Philadelphia and south, accumulations were two to four inches, including what is already on the ground from last night. Little snow fell in most of the northern and western suburbs.
Because sanders and plows were out in force getting those major routes all clear, most major roads are just wet.
But they are very wet so you still obviously you need to be careful.
