Lobster Trap
Inside was even nicer, with tasteful maritime decor, oil paintings, marble floors and a tank with real lobsters. Dinner specials were posted near the hostessÕ counter. In the warm weather, patrons can even choose to sit outside on the spacious veranda overlooking the river.
We began our meals with an order of mozzarella sticks ($4.95) with marinara sauce. We were also brought some complimentary soft French bread, which my guest especially liked.
For entrees, I chose the broiled flounder ($11.95), which was served with a salad as well as crisp and spicy sauteed vegetables that included zucchini, carrots and asparagus. The fish itself (served with butter and lemon) was tender, hot and so large I couldn`t finish it.
My friend ordered a pound of snow crab legs ($12.50), all of which were served on a queen-size platter with a shell cracker and a lemon. She immediately began cracking away, and the wafting aroma was too strong for me to resist - much to her annoyance! This crab, unlike some others I`ve tried, was tender and tasty. The restaurant`s relaxed atmosphere complemented dinner. And our waiter Mike was friendly and attentive without being intrusive. It was truely a great meal.
Lobster Trap offers a wide selection of seafood and steaks, and is now serving all of your favorite cocktails.
