Teacher Accused of Endangering Child A New Jersey high school teacher is in jail after allegedly taking sexually explicit photographs of a Philadelphia teenager and then trying to have them developed at a local drugstore.

Police in Lindenwold and Camden County prosecutors said that Kim J. Carlos, 47, of Laurel Springs, is charged with endangering the welfare of a child.

Carlos is a 12th-grade mathematics teacher at Overbrook High School in Pine Hill, police said.

He was being held at the Camden County Correctional Facility in lieu of $250,000 bond. If convicted, he could face up to 10 years in prison.

Police said a roll of film Carlos brought to a Lindenwold drugstore on Friday allegedly had three sexually explicit photographs of a 15-year-old Philadelphia resident.

The store manager alerted police and officers arrested him at the store when he came to pick up the photographs on Saturday, police said.

Police said they believed Carlos met the victim at a Philadelphia coffee shop.
