Suspect Arrested in Trenton Rape Case Police in Trenton have made another arrest in a series of rapes in Trenton. The suspect is wanted for luring five women from local bus stops and attacking them in nearby Cadwalader park. Another suspect was arrested a few weeks ago, but DNA evidence later cleared that man and he was let go. Now Police believe they have the right man.

Trenton police director, Joseph Santiago, made an announcement yesterday that a new suspect was arrested, a week ago, in Bensalem, Pennsylvania—a 38-year-old male from Levittown, Pennsylvania.

Santiago says Burke resembles the sketch of the suspect that's been circulating since the first attack in April of last year. In each case, the assailant offered the women a ride and took them to the park where they were assaulted.

The arrest was based on two tips, one from Crimestoppers and the other from Channel 10’s general tip line, that indicated that people had seen this particular individual, or believed that this particular individual had been in the area.

Police had arrested another suspect last month using a suspect identification. In that case, the DNA didn't match and the man was released. This time, police say they have victim IDs and a car that matches, and they say, so does the DNA.
