Murdered Woman Was From S Jersey Yesterday police released details about the woman found dead Monday. They described her mini tattoos family members called police and later identified the woman. Now police are searching for a killer. They plan to release a picture of the woman in hopes that someone may have seen her either Sunday or Monday.

32-year-old Susan Brennan lived in rural Southampton Township, Burlington County, with her family. Police say she was visiting her children's father in Northeast Philadelphia over the weekend when she left for the store and never came back. She had been bound and strangled with an extension cord.

“It's pretty frightening you know. I hope that it's nothing local. Someone involved locally because my kids play in this area and I am a runner, I run through this area frequently,” said neighbor Laura. Laura's daughter was friends with Brennan's little girl.

She seemed to be an involved parent and good mother.

Neighbors say Brennan had two children and a stepchild. Police say she was pregnant with another, a little boy. Police believe Brennan was killed elsewhere and dumped in Northeast Philadephia with no sign of assault, but her body was smeared with peanut butter to attract animals. Police say Brennan's estranged husband and her boyfriend both had been ruled out as suspects.
