Grounds for Sculpture Museum The Grounds for Sculpture museum offers exhibits, educational programs and special events celebrating the art of sculpture. The 35-acre park encompasses a wide array of varying indoor and outdoor exhibitions. Grounds for Sculpture exhibits works from established and emerging artists to promote a greater understanding of the art of sculpture.

Grounds for Sculpture offers several exhibitions for visitors to enjoy. Until April 18, 2004, the museum will hold the New Jersey State Fair Grounds for Sculpture: Amazing Animal Exposition. This exhibition celebrates the imagination of animals that roamed the New Jersey State Fairgrounds. The Domestic Arts Building (ground floor) will show the ISC 2003 Outstanding Student Achievement in Contemporary Sculpture Awards Exhibition. The exhibition celebrates the work of young sculptors. Until January 4, 2004 the Domestic Arts Building (mezzanine) will hold the “In Search of the ‘Other’ in the Extraordinary, Photography by Bryan Grigsby.” Grigsby spent three years photographing the art collection at Ground for Sculpture to create this visionary experience. Beginning January 11th the Mezzanine Domestic Arts Building will hold Focus on Sculpture 2004, the annual juried exhibition by amateur photographers. Outdoors at Grounds for Sculpture offers a 35-acre sculpture park with works by Seymour Ikenson, Wendy Lehman, Linda M. Ogden, Dorothy Ruddick, and Autin Wright.

Grounds for Sculpture is open Tuesday through Sunday from 10am to 7pm during the months of November through February and 10am to 9pm during the months of March through October. Admission to the park is $5 for adults, $4 for senior citizens and $1 for children 12 and under on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. Friday admission is $8 for adults, $7 for seniors and $4 for children. Saturday admission is $12 for all visitors. Members of Grounds for Sculpture receive free admission year round.
