BRISKET

1 whole brisket
1 can cola
1 envelope onion soup mix
1 bottle chili sauce

Defat the top of brisket (cut fat off the top). Score brisket diagonally (cutting against the grain). Place in roasting pan (scored side down). Add chili sauce, onion soup mix and can of cola. Cover the roasting pan; cook at 325' degrees for three to five hours, (30 minutes per lb) until fork tender. Turn over brisket and slice against grain where scored. Defat gravy and return slices to pan. Cook at 325 degrees for 30 to 45 minutes.
