Tracy's Famous Walnut Balls,
Tracy O'Connell - Washington Township

1/2 lb. butter (room temperature)
2 cups chopped walnuts
2 cups flour
5 tablespoons sugar
2 teaspoon vanilla
2 teaspoon almond extract
1 tablespoon water
2 teaspoon salt
1 box 10X sugar

Beat butter, sugar, vanilla, almond extract & water until light and fluffy. Add nuts and flour one cup at a time.

By hand, roll and shape into 1” balls. Bake at 325 degrees F for 9 to 11 minutes on an ungreased cookie sheet. While still warm, roll in 10X sugar. Roll in 10X sugar again after cool.
