ORIENTAL BARBECUED CHICKEN WINGS

Cooking spray
4 to 5 lbs. fresh chicken wings or 4 lbs. frozen chicken wings
1 cup brown sugar, packed
3/4 cup sherry
1/2 tsp. dry mustard powder
1 cup soy sauce
3 tbsp. garlic, minced
2 tbsp. sesame seeds (optional)

Preheat oven to 350 degrees and spray 13Ó x 9Ó baking dish with cooking spray. If using fresh chicken, rinse well and cut off tips of wings and discard. Cut wings into pieces at the joints. Place chicken in pan and bake for 1/2 hour. While wings are baking, mix the remaining ingredients in a sauce pan and bring to a simmer. Drain excess liquid from pan. Pour the sauce over the wings and continue to bake for 2 hours longer, turning every 1/2 hour until sauce has been absorbed and wings are deeply glazed.
