2 cups grated cheddar cheese 1 cup soft butter 2 cups sifted flour 1 tsp salt
Cream cheese and butter together. Add the flour and salt; mix until the dough is smooth and well-blended. Shape the dough into rolls, about one inch in diameter. Chill for two hours or until the dough is firm. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Slice dough into thin rounds and place them on ungreased baking sheets, at least one inch apart. Bake for 12 to 15 minutes.
