Reciprocity with other states - drivers licenses
New Jersey Statute: 39:3-17 (Touring privileges of non-resident chauffeurs or drivers)
If a driver has a valid driver’s license in another state or country, New Jersey will permit that driver to drive in the state without having to obtain a New Jersey driver’s license. That person must carry their driver’s license, and present it to a police officer if so asked.
